Role Overview:

As a Mechanical Engineer at Worley, you will be part of a global team delivering complex projects across energy, chemicals, and resource sectors. In this role, you will work on the design and engineering of static equipment, utilizing industry-standard codes and software to meet client specifications and ensure project compliance. Reporting to the General Manager, you will contribute to project success by performing design calculations, preparing engineering documents, and collaborating with stakeholders and designers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Engineering:
    • Design static equipment such as pressure vessels, columns, and heat exchangers using software like PV-Elite and AutoCAD.
    • Prepare mechanical datasheets and perform detailed mechanical design calculations.
    • Apply relevant codes and standards, including ASME Section VIII (Div.1 & Div.2), Sec-I, and Sec-II.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Develop and maintain the engineering document schedule and ensure compliance with standards.
    • Review general arrangement (GA) and fabrication drawings, providing input for detailing.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with designers and project teams to provide accurate detailing inputs.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

About You:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in mechanical engineering software, with experience in PV-Elite and AutoCAD preferred.
    • Knowledgeable in both local and international engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
    • Strong working knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals and familiarity with basic requirements of other engineering disciplines.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering.
    • 0-5 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically in the engineering of static equipment.
  • Behavioral Skills:
