Job description
Job Title: Engineer – Trainee
Division: Weir Minerals
Location: NCC, Bangalore (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inquiries for slurry pumps and mineral processing products.
- Drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction to maximize market share for Weir Minerals.
- Prepare proposals and participate in techno-commercial discussions.
- Manage customer accounts, including receivables.
- Gather and analyze market data to support regional strategy execution.
Lean and Safety Responsibilities
- Support lean initiatives and implement lean practices in all activities.
- Follow safety norms as per Weir Group SHE policy.
Key Performance Indicators
- Demonstrate product knowledge and sales skills.
- Achieve monthly and annual objectives.
- Efficiently manage receivables.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical or Minerals Processing Engineering.
- Specific Experience: Knowledge of industrial pumps and selling skills.
Skills & Competencies
- Required: Sales & marketing skills, sector knowledge, integrity, teamwork, customer focus, communication.
- Desirable: Additional experience in customer-focused roles.
