Sales Engineer

Purpose of Role:
We are looking for a driven sales professional to manage enquiries and generate business for slurry pumps and mineral processing products in Odisha.

The role includes handling techno-commercial proposals, closing orders, and meeting regional sales targets. Responsibilities also cover customer visits, dealer and receivable management, sales promotions, and regular reporting on market opportunities and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
  • Enquiry handling of slurry pumps and other mineral processing products.
  • Generate business for Original Equipment and Aftermarket.
  • Sales & Marketing activities of WMI products in Odisha state.
  • Techno-commercial proposals preparation and order conclusion.
  • Regular visits to customers in the region.
  • Dealer and Receivable Management.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in sales or marketing, ideally in slurry pumps or mineral processing equipment
  • Experience in sales & marketing of slurry pumps/mineral processing equipment
  • Exposure to industrial product sales in Eastern India
  • Sales skills including proposal preparation and business development
