Design Engineer

Purpose of Role: Looking for Design Engineer to support Engineering Data Management team for executing projects for Data Harmonization/Data Engineering and  Engineering Data Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute projects assigned by the Project lead as per defined quality, OTD & Schedule.
• Execute the work as per agreed scope & Standards, operating procedure of Projects and explore possibility of automation
• Lead role in developing and training others, including identifying training gaps.
• Communicate/report/document technical information with project team and customer

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.

• Education and/or Experience: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 2-3 years experience on UG NX, Teamcenter Software
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English (Written and Verbal)
• Computer Skills: Expertise in advanced Excel, VBA, Macros, NX, and Teamcentre. 
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience on all modules of TeamCenter is a must.
• Candidate must have good knowledge of Advanced Excel(Power Query, Power Pivot, Macros etc. PowerBI
• Candidate must have experience in VBA
• Candidates with experience in data management projects will be preferred.
• Exposure to Data Analysis Process
• Candidates with good knowledge of Mechanical design principles, manufacturing knowledge & knowledge of mining equipment domain.
• Candidates with an analytical mindset and a collaborative mindset will be preferred
• A candidate with good process adherence and the ability to work well with TeamCenter Data is preferred.
