Job description

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1-3 years experience preferably in Industrial Gearboxes
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing Gear equipment / Other Industrial equipment
  • Experience in troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.

Main Responsibilities

  • Handle after-sales service including commissioning and installation of Gearboxes, breakdown rectification, troubleshooting and Gearboxes spare parts business generation.
  • To schedule the installed machines at the current clients and make a timely pitch for Maintenance of Gearboxes
  • Understanding customers business, project & after sales requirement
  • Understand customer service logs and other service records. Resolution and proper follow-up.
  • Take care of warranty and breakdown service
  • Utilize the escalation process to resolve customer service issues. Garner information about the equipment installed at customers site and interpret clients requirements.
  • Actively participate in sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract renewals and Gear parts sales.
  • To actively participate in assembly, trials and quality checks before gearbox dispatch dispatch
  • To suggest improvements in gearboxes from practical field experiences. To give inputs to engineering, Manufacturing, assembly & Quality teams
  • To support perform the entire functionalities of improving machineries productivity & parts business.
  • To support timely submission of the Proposal to the client for Gear boxes service contracts
  • Warranty parts Knowledge and understanding
  • Make service reports so as to capture the issues clearly and the action taken to resolve.
