Position – PPOC Engineer

Qualification:- B.E (Mechanical)

Description

1. Study of requirement, drawing, process plan, QAP, technical specification, etc.
2. Floating inquiries along with clear requirements, drawing, process plan, QAP, technical specification, etc.
3. Cost estimation, follow up for quotation, preparation of quotation comparison table, negotiation and rate finalization
4. Workload evaluation and allocation of jobs.
5. Preparation of Purchase order, sending Purchase Order to vendor.
6. Co-ordinate with stores and shipping department for the supply of required material to vendor.
7. Dispatch of attested test certificates, approved drawings, approved process plans, approved QAP, etc. to vendor.
8. Coordination with various departments like Design, Process planning, Quality Control to resolve queries of vendors.
9. Follow up and effective monitoring with the vendor for on-time delivery of components.
10. Co-ordination with the Quality Control Department for the arrangement of stage-wise & final inspection.
11. Co-ordination with the shipping department to collect the material.
12. Confirmation of GRN.
13. Ensure all required documents/clearances for billing purposes, follow up for payment with the accounts dept.
14. ISO document preparation.
15. Development of new vendors for cost reduction, for adaption of new technology, for capacity addition, etc.
    16.Source for new parts, suppliers, or sub-contractors when the need arises. -Support relevant
    departments with quotations for the purpose of tenders.
    17.Effective management of vendor database.
16. Conducting training for vendors to educate them about company requirements and help them in improving their performance.
17. Evaluating vendors & negotiating the price, delivery schedule, and terms and conditions with them.
