Role Overview: The Manufacturing Engineer will support new P&E procurement, understand manufacturing assembly processes, and set up production lines for new models in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role involves solving cross-functional problems and supporting strategic business goals in the manufacturing engineering domain.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute new assembly setups and understand drawing changes.
  • Analyze operations sequences, material flow, and project information to determine job functions and responsibilities.
  • Follow the Master Project Plan and track gateways to manage project timelines, ensuring timely P&E availability to meet customer delivery schedules.
  • Maintain risk registers, perform risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, lift plans, PFDs, PFMEAs, SODs, heatmaps, etc.
  • Understand product tooling and apply advanced tooling techniques.
  • Address material non-conformity issues and make quick decisions based on process and product knowledge.
  • Act as a product and process expert, assisting operations, quality, and supplier quality engineers.
  • Flexible to work in shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Technology Engineering.
  • 0 to 5 years of experience.
  • Strong background in interpreting engineering drawings/specifications and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Knowledge of process engineering, project management, FMEA, and stakeholder management is preferred.
