Position – Senior System Simulation and Analysis Engineer

Position Description

• n our endeavor towards data-driven product development, we are looking for candidates who are experts at working with sophisticated multi-dimensional data sets.
• Proficient at analyzing a large sets of data from Customer vehicles, to study the performance of engines and driveline to provide actionable insights and reports that will assist in decision-making.
• Perform Root cause analysis using machine-learning algorithms.
• Early prediction of failures.
• Feature engineering / Data preparation of Logged Data & Telematics.
• Building relationships with key stakeholders across the business unit to support the business with critical data.
• Understand the trends to establish relationship between the raw events and key business metrics, recommend innovative ways of analysing data, and come up with the right set of measures for overall product health.
• Identify and evaluate latest advancement in technologies and tools, making recommendations where appropriate.
• Interact with IT to derive data integration processes and analytics platforms, driving solutions for issues encountered.
• Drive Innovative thought process within the team.
• Suggest process improvements and lead initiatives by working with cross-functional teams.

• Technical requirements
  • Overall knowledge in Powertrain components (Engine, transmission, and axle), experience in Engine test cell will be an added advantage.
    Knowledge/experience on the below are added advantages
    Writing optimized SQL scripts to query & prepare data sets for analytical needs.
    Data modeling, statistical analysis, and algorithm development/ usage.
• Educational qualification:
  • B.E/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech (Mechanical, Automobile, Computer Science, Information technology, electronics, and communication)
  • Minimum 6-8 years of working experience is necessary
