Complete Vehicle contributes to delivering the right Products and services to brand customers according to product segmentation and brand positioning. We are a team of specialized functions with a high focus on cooperation to get a holistic view of the entire truck and bring hands-on truck experience into the projects. We are close to ending customers to understand their needs and behaviors and bring users’ perspectives into the projects. We do this by breaking down features to technical requirements, translating the soul of the brand to a product message, delivering all truck and component builds, developing niche products and aftermarket solutions, and verifying and validating products and services.
The product Builds team within Complete Vehicle is responsible for build and maintaining prototype test objects for Powertrain and Vehicle Projects in time, with quality and optimized costs.
The Trucks we build are mostly Proto Trucks and Rebuilds to be used by FVV or Engineering teams to meet the Project/ Customer needs. We also facilitate for building the Rigs.
We aspire to capitalize on the Virtual Technology thereby reduce the lead time of building the Trucks and Rebuilds.
This in turn should help us minimize the cost of developing and production of Customer Trucks.
Our team is responsible for:
- Lead the Build process in the Projects from order to delivery.
- Specify test objects.
- Manage the Bill of Material for test objects.
- Manage the supply chain and logistics for parts needed for assemblies.
- Secure the assembly of test objects.
- Estimate project costs.
- Manage the process related to Product Builds activities.
You will be responsible for:
- Support in planning, assembly and update of test objects (Vehicles, Engines, Transmissions, CABs, E Mob…) involving virtual tools and techniques.
- Support regular activities connected to Problem Solving, 5S and continuous improvement.
- Product Building performance involving virtual and physical build activities.
For that, we need you to:
- Present initiative and pro-activity.
- Be organized, disciplined and ease to get along with experienced professionals.
- Take initiatives to explore the new technologies supporting Virtual Product Development and Simulations.
- Reach out and network with cross-functional teams, explore possibilities and formalize the same.
- Have good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI), CAD Virtual Tools, AR/VR, IPS (Industrial Path Solutions)
- You are aware of the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) SEC 22(B), and you may be eligible to apply for the available job openings on completion of the apprenticeship term.
Desirable:
- You are from any of the Engineering streams like Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or Automotive.
- Ability to learn quickly the tools and techniques we use in daily operations.
- Done Engineering Projects involving CAD, Virtualization, and or simulations.
- Innovative or Continuous improvement mindset.
- You are proficient in English language.
