Job description
- Carryout Strength and Durability Analysis for UD products during the product development phase.
- Responsible to provide design direction based on CAE simulation and physical test.
- Perform finite element simulations to evaluate and enhance full vehicle and sub-system durability, strength, and stiffness performance.
- Convert real-time problems into engineering problems and solve Quality issues
- Interpret results and effectively communicate to Design and Verification Teams with feasible solutions.
- Support to create a CAE roadmap for our UD Products to meet the Durability and Stiffness requirement with Quality.
- Take part in supplier discussions, initiate and lead in building technical requirement for Strength and Durability
- Establish and maintain a global network within the knowledge area.
- Work in a Global and Multi-cultural environment and be part of the complete product development cycle.
- Continually strive to develop the tools/methods required to improve CAE capabilities
- Support to execute Verification & Validation plan for complete system as well as for components.
- Establish and maintain a global network in the CAE community.
- Identify and implement best practice engineering processes.
Requirements
- ME/M Tech in Mechanical Engineering with more than 8 years of experience.
- Advanced “Applied skill” in CAE tools like MSC, ABAQUS, n-code fatigue software, Hyper works & Beta CAE and Full Truck level NVH Calculations in CVM
- Very Good knowledge of fatigue, linear, and non-linear Structural simulation.
- Must have experience in Static, Modal, Transient, and Frequency Response analysis.
- Experience in Performing Panel & Mount Dynamic Stiffness, Noise, and Vibration Transfer Functions will be an added advantage.
- Should have expertise in plastic modeling and techniques and connections
- Ability to think independently and being pro-active to drive Verification and Validation team
- Should be good at compiling and presenting information verbally and in writing.
- Innovative and creative mind-set to provide engineering solutions and concepts.
- Should be enthusiastic to learn new technologies in CAE and implement them in relevant projects.
