Job description

Develop and verify concepts on component and system level, working with a long-term perspective requiring a holistic view of customer needs, factory processes and product maintenance.
To align with the product, project objectives and Product System Roadmaps.
Develop solutions with external aggregate suppliers.
Take part in supplier discussions, initiate and lead meetings to review technical specification.
Create / review engineering drawings, technical requirements, product structure and release them to production.
Produce time and activity plan, identifying the need of resources
Deploy identified quality tools and participate in design reviews.
Present concepts to review panel and receive cross functional agreements and decisions.
To carryout System/component FMEAs.
Create and release engineering reports.
Establish and maintain a global network within knowledge area.
Propose and work on Advanced Engineering topics to arrive at mature concepts.
Maintain an awareness of important technological developments both within and outside the concerned technology areas. Capture and reuse knowledge in specific technical area.
Identify and implement best practice engineering processes.
Highlight risks and escalate to bring needed attention to solve problems.

Strong engineering fundamentals with a focus on Thermodynamics and Fluid mechanics.
Formal education: B.E or M.E in Mechanical/ Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
Experienced engineer with a proven track record of engineering deliveries.
Relevant communication skills.
Quality mindset and customer orientation.
Ability to delegate tasks and cooperate to achieve team objectives.
