Job description

The SSC Procurement Department is comprised of multiple work streams within Procurement such as the Indirect Buying, Purchasing & SQD, Supply & Market Analytics, and Digitalization & Processes. This role is under the Purchasing & SQD team which collaborates closely with the Global and Regional Procurement organizations on purchasing activities (i.e., source-to-contract activities, spend management, and supplier negotiation) and supplier & quality development (SQD).

Responsibilities

  • You shall be accountable for supporting the Purchasing & SQD Team in the end-to-end purchasing process which covers requirement definition, supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting, as well as all other relevant steps within the full process.
  • Assist the sourcing responsible in sourcing and conducting RFx with agreed vendors.
  • Participate in selection, qualification, negotiation, and contracting with suppliers within the category.
  • Support in the execution of risk assessments of suppliers, using the standard risk tools
  • Support the category/regional procurement teams with master data maintenance – ensure that missing master data is enriched (info records, source lists, quota arrangements, and vendor master).
  • This may also include collation of documents such as Safety Data Sheets, CE declaration of conformity certificates, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to KPIs set by Global Sourcing regarding safety, quality, cost, delivery, innovation, and sustainability.
  • Perform data analysis on tender spend visibility, and other relevant procurement analytics activities.

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil) or business studies.
  • 0-3 years of work experience in Purchasing or another position requiring professional coordination and business skills.

  • Great interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Positive and solution-oriented problem solver.
  • Able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Fluent English is essential; knowledge of other languages will be a plus.

Working Timing : 3.30 PM to 12.30 AM

This will be the FTC (Fixed Term Contract) position
