Associate Engineer- Mechanical

Job Title : Associate Engineer Mechanical

Department : MCAD CoE

Reports to : Manager – NPD CoE

To work in the Global Environment for Design Engineering support activities for New Product development, VAVE, and Improvement projects.
To Work on projects/assignments (short or long term) such as on CAD Modelling, its detailing, and making General assembly drawings (using Creo tool).
Should have exposure of working in IT Racks environment.
Work on 3D models, assemblies, GA drawings, and BOM structures.
Must also be able to work independently with little guidance.
Must have Creo working experience.
Adherence to the project management process set by the organization.
Being part of the Global Engineering Function, he/she is expected to maintain desired quality & schedule adherence defined by the organization and report as per the defined communication plan.

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
1-3 years of experience on the Creo platform in the Sheet metal domain is a must.
Must have good working experience in 3D modelling and detailing work on Creo, with experience in generating Bills of Materials.
Should also possess relevant experience and understanding of the CO process.
Working experience with any PLM tools. Agile or PD cloud will be added advantage.
Knowledge of the sheet metal fabrication process will be an added advantage.
Good Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, Willingness to learn, and organized.
Experience in handling large CAD assemblies in CREO and managing modifications as required.
