Job description
Support major Leap Forward Business Transformation Program by taking a key role in the project from pre-rollout planning and readiness to transformation through execution and success.
- Participate in long-lead time data activities locally (i.e., data cleansing and harmonization)
- Support defining ERP rollout data scope
- Support Legacy IT experts to extract data from existing legacy systems
- Support preliminary data mapping (for new ERPs / businesses)
- Support handover to other data specialists
- Participate in ERP rollout data scope validation
- Execute data mapping, cleansing, and harmonization
- Collect low-volume data
- Participate in data work plan creation
- Execute data cleansing and harmonization
- Participate in master data / LN training
- Work with the VAL item experts and other departments to create validated items (VALs #’s), technical support of VAL item creation (answers VMS questions)
- Connects with “item owner” if items in scope are not owned by the local business having an item in scope
- Execute data cleansing and harmonization e.g., item data enrichment, data mappings, and conversion work for the data object
- Participate in data migration testing (MOCK) validation
- Support data migration testing and validation
- Participate in cutover local activities
- Support data migration defects correction
- Participate in backlog data migration, local part
- Support daily operative data creation and enrichment e.g., Item enrichment (after going live)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably in Mechanical.
- Min. 2-3 years of experience in functions like Warehousing and Inventory Management, Purchase, Item Data work, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Should understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of basic Excel.
- Written and verbal communication in English is a must.
- Willingness to travel.
