In this position, you will be required to,
- Responsible for ensuring fulfillment of standards and contract technical requirements
- Provide input to the time schedule, document delivery schedule, risk and opportunity analysis, project execution plan, supply plan, construction/installation plan, and project budget, etc.
- Engineering coordination and schedule follow-up. Ensuring good communication between engineering disciplines.
- Responsible for coordinating and preparing supply specifications, contract enclosures according to supply plan.
- Planning and procurement of raw material, fabrication, and machining components as per the requirement of the company monthly & quarterly basics plan.
- Must have knowledge of heavy machining & precision job handling.
- Preparing Purchase Orders & sending to respective supplier.
- Regular follow-up and visit at the supplier to get an update about the completion of our requirement at the expected delivery date.
- Procurement of material at the best possible cost, quality and reliability, and design standard.
- Knowledge of Import procurement and LC payment process.
- Good technical knowledge about engineering manufacturing processes like welding standards and codes, engineering drawings and symbols, and machining process.
- Procure material willing all engineering process like shearing, bending, plasma and laser cutting, Fabrication including welding standard & codes and also surface protection process like HDG, powder coating.
- Independently handle standard bought-out parts like Pulley, gearbox, couplings, hardware, etc.
- Always search for a new vendor for existing and new items with price optimization and make comparative cost analysis in order to determine the most effective and efficient suppliers.
- Knowledge of costing of fabrication. cutting, components, and rate negotiation.
- Co-ordinate with supplier, engineering & quality team for the development of new components and implementation.
- Follow-up with suppliers to obtain quotations and analysis of quotations received from suppliers.
- Work with quality department to qualify supplier and also lead with the design department for existing and new changes implement in our product and providing support to vendors for supply.
To succeed this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering.
- Around 4 to 5 years of experience in relevant field.
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English.
