Mission
Using the M-CAD system, design: Systems, Products, and Components.
Responsibilities
In relation to the Product Technical Engineer / Leader / Manager of the related project (s):
- Develop innovative and reliable solutions that fulfill specifications.
- Design 3D models and prepare definition files for products, prototypes, and test means.
- Share technical topics with prototype workshops and suppliers.
- Prepare the technical file to justify the choice of concept and solutions.
- Build 2D drawings with functional dimensions according to ISO standards.
- Build tolerance stack-up and optimize dimensioning.
- Define and identify functional and critical characteristics.
- Support project planning edition and update.
- Apply CAD methodologies and deliver CAD data that pass the Q-Checker.
- Manage Product definition file in the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) database.
Qualifications – External
Education/Training
- DME or equivalent in Mechanical Design
Professional Experience
- Depending on the experience level required for the mission
- One to two years experience in Mechanical Design
- One to two years of experience in the Automotive industry
Key Competences (Transversal/Professional)
Competence
Level – CATIA V5: Part Design, Assembly Design, Drafting
Skilled – Manufacturing processes: Molding, Stamping, Machining…
Skilled – Functional dimensioning, ISO geometric tolerancing
Skilled – Tolerance stack-up
Skilled – Languages – English & Local language
