The Opportunity:

JD: Associate I – Engineering Design

Job role: Manufacturing EC Engineer Inventor

1. Responsible for documenting Engineering changes through ECR / ECN or ECO processes.
2. Works on Inventor CAD tools to make design, document & BOM changes.
3. Responsible for releasing, revising parts, assemblies, & OEMs using PLM (Teamcenter) & ERP (SAP) applications.
4. Reads & Interprets engineering drawings and rectifies design issues to prevent or resolve manufacturing concerns.
5. Applies manufacturing knowledge in resolving supplier & manufacturing concerns on mechanical design & assemblies.
6. Responsible for working with Design & Manufacturing engineers and executing design release and update activities.
7. Applies problem solving & critical thinking while working on design & manufacturing issues.
8. Develop BKMs and train the team on lessons learnt
9. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve the roadblocks and enable faster implementation of engineering changes.
10. Knowledge & experience on product assembly of mechanical & (or) Electrical components.

• Basic knowledge on metal & non-metal materials, manufacturing processes.
• CAD knowledge & experience with Creo & Equivalent CAD tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders
• Ability to understand complex machine configurations and the impact of configuration changes.
