Position description: R &D – NVH Group
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work on transmission noise simulation to meet NVH targets
- Gearbox and driveline systems noise simulation with the focus on the system level
- Perform standard and custom component noise simulations of transmission systems
- Work collaboratively with attribute, testing, designers and product teams to enhance the NVH predictability and play a vital role in NVH performance
- Contribute the solutions of the NVH issue through analytical calculations and simulation
Required Certification/s:
- Prior experience in transmission systems NVH simulation
- An understanding of gearbox and driveline fundamentals
- An understanding of bearings, bearing types, and basic parameters of bearing geometry
- Expertise in system modelling of driveline or transmission systems with respect to bearings, shafts and gears for NVH simulation
- Excellent root cause and problem-solving skills in automotive transmission NVH
