Designation: Supplier quality – Electrical proprietary (Supplier Quality – Electrical Proprietary – QAD – SQA – Part Approval / GS & VA/VE)
Office Location: Hosur Plant (Plant)
Position description: Part development with suppliers, Supplier process & system audit, Establish robust processes & system at suppliers end to ensure defect free parts supplied to TVSM.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare yearly plan for suppliers improvement & sustenance of QPR Gold / Platinum grade
- Prepare part development plan (Feasibility study, APQP review, PPAP approval) for alternate source and ensure the system to achieve first time right samples.
- Prepare annual training plan for suppliers upgradation on system to achieve & sustain QSR Gold / platinum grade
- Implement M2 action and M3 action for chronic defects / field complaints (PPFR) through joint analysis along with suppliers.
- Mitigate probability of defects generation & outflow through robust solutions.
- Co-ordination with plant quality team to resolve chronic issues
- Co-ordination / Participation with R&D and lab team for drawings / standards clarifications, regularization for discrepancies / DFM points.
Educational qualifications preferred
- Category: Bachelor’s Degree
- Field specialization: Mechanical Engineering

Job description
Position description: Design & development of Plastic & Trim components meeting the product requirements & physical compatibility with related sub systems, ensuring Quality, cost and delivery targets
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare design input sheet
- Conduct benchmark study
- Generate concepts & CAD layout. Verify CAD model against design guidelines. Optimise design to cost & weight targets
- Check for patent infringement (FTO) & provide IDF
- Carry out Part & vehicle level testing & prepare reports. Analyse failures & arrive at resolution
- Part development & trials. Support in concept / proto vehicle development
- Apply engineering principles and practices and use advanced engineering techniques. Modify and extend theories, concepts and practices for new requirement and problem solving
