Job Description
- To work as a Desk Engineer / Field Engineer / Shift in charge.To control desk operations from control rooms.
- To work as a Desk Engineer / Field Engineer / Shift in charge. To control desk operations from control rooms. rolling up to rated speed, unit synchronization and loading to full load.
- All control room operations of the B TG set, monitoring parameters and taking contingency operations as required,
- To carrying out various tests such as Boiler protection tests, Turbine Protection tests, over speed test, partial and full load operations
- HP-LP heater by-pass operations, Hot banking of Boilers ,Water and steam chemistry, handling black-outs, safe shut-down and preservation.
- To Monitor plant equipment’s from control room as well as from field. To ensure safe isolation of the equipments.
- To operate the unit at optimum level in ABT regime. To manage entire operations with key focus on the optimal utilization of resources
- To assess heat rate and advice for improvement, economic machine loading configurations
- Day to day coordination with Maintenance sections for equipment outage plan and execution.
- To design the standard and safe operating procedures and practices to be observed in operations. Must have attended training regarding best operating procedures
- To analyse trip outs/faults/outages & skill to handle emergencies of a Power Plant equipment. Daily reporting to higher authorities.
- Knowledge of Energy Management system will be an added advantage
- To Monitor plant equipment’s from control room as well as from field. To ensure safe isolation of the equipments.
