Job description

The position will contribute to overall development and enhancement of the Quality Procedures, Standards and Specifications in the unit. The position will have excellent opportunities to lead and implement best practices in the industry. The role will directly report to Quality Manager and oversee the end to end process quality. This position will further grow up to lead the Quality Function in the future.

• Strengthening the workflow, processes, and work instructions.
• Drive Quality KPI’s on RCCM, CAPA, FPY, monthly statistics recorded data and analysis on impact over Quality.
• Identify & reduce waste at all levels and drive the quality and reliability of products.
• Should be able to implement “Quality at Source” and “Zero defects thinking” to ensure that incoming parts from suppliers are Pre-inspected and incoming process and documentation are taken care of through the appropriate system.
• Preparation of Project specific procedures and documentation. Ensure the documentation is in the controlled format before / during customer inspection etc.
• Implementation of instructions and training for employees in quality management topics.
• Lead through internal ISO audits and set a cadence to close the NCR’s

Experience/Knowledge requirements

• Candidates with 8 to 10 years in the areas of Quality Management, handling supplier quality function in Manufacturing, assembly, testing of analyzers.
• Good understanding of various quality improvement tools & techniques: SPC, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, etc
• Exposure of customer complaint analysis & quality improvement projects.
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Knowledge of various standards – ASME/ASTM/ANSI/ANST/DIN /EN/ISO standards/API/European Directives/CE marking / PED/NACE/SSPC/ATEX/IEC/CENELEC/PESO/CCOE/DOSH/U/R/U2 stamp etc

Educational requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering with several years of experience in Quality.
• Certification in Quality Management ( TQM, Six sigma, black belt, etc) is an asset
