Principal Responsibilities

• The Intern in this position will be responsible for computational modeling and analysis of sheet metal parts and provide timely support to queries from Design and Manufacturing groups.
• The Intern will be responsible for developing, adhering to and managing standard documentation, guidelines for the overall analytical process.
• The Intern will support various departments such as Design, Supply chain, Tooling and Manufacturing.
• The Intern will be responsible for documenting the recommendations in database and communicating those with customers

Technical Competencies

Candidate should be pursuing MTech/ME in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing). Candidate should possess the following skills:

• ME/M.Tech in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing)
• Knowledge of finite element theory and modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of sheet metal forming processes and / or tool design.
• Knowledge of CAD modeling (using Catia or equivalent).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential
• A good team player.
• Good understanding of concepts and practical approach to problem solving.
