Description – Trainee (Contract)

Experience/Expectations

1. BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical /Polymer Engineering
2. 0 – 6 years of experience in medical device industry or any other industry where design related work was carried out.
3. CAD/Solidworks drawings for the creation of parts and BOMs
4. Knowledge in product development and testing of medical devices
5. Hands-on experience in manufacturing of disposable medical devices
6. Knowledge of different standards related to disposables medical devices
7. Experience in Corel-Draw
8. Experience in plastics testing
9. Should be willing to learn and adapt to new requirements and changes as project requirements change.
10. Candidate should be willing to go the extra mile to complete projects by taking ownership and be self-accountable of the activities he/she is involved in.
11. Knowledge in MS office, Power point, Excel

Job Responsibilities

1. Support the product development team in designing and testing disposables.
2. Prepare CAD/Solid works drawings to create parts and BOMs for creating specifications.
3. Use life cycle management software to maintain Design History Files
4. Ensure that all design control processes as per the QMS of the company are followed in each process
5. Help the product development team during sample production/prototype inside the Plant
6. Will involve lifting of heavy boxes between 5 to 20 Kg.
7. Write protocols and reports per global design controls.
