Position – Strategic Sourcing Analyst I

Job description
- Assist to develops and distribute RFPs/RFQs and obtains bids or information from vendors and evaluates the proposals/quotes.
- Obtain quotes, conduct cost analyses, and negotiate prices and service levels as assigned
- Evaluate products and services for overall value (including price, quality, key performance indicators, service levels, etc.)
- Maintain contact with suppliers through meetings and site visits as needed
- Needs to track supplier performance and compliance with expectations or as per agreed terms.
- Analyse and evaluate external price trends and commodity costs.
- Continuously analyse spend data to support commodity Managers in identifying opportunities to generate savings in the indirect spend categories
- Work with internal clients to integrate the TE procurement process and policies into regular business practice
- Assist in the resolution of payable issues, outstanding items, damaged goods, and incorrect shipments
Qualifications & Skills
- BE/ BTech in Electronics, Mechanical
- 3+ years’ experience in the field of strategic sourcing & a minimum of 2 years in the wiring harness.
- Technical knowledge of harness commodities such as connectors, backshells, wires & cables, machined and fabricated components, etc.
- Communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Strong Data Analytics skills – Excel, SAP MM
- Attention to detail and accuracy
