Job description
- Design exposure of Automotive Interior Trims/Seating system components
- 3D modeling in surfacing as well as solid. Generating 2D drawings,3D annotation, etc.
- Manage BOM and engineering releases through PLM
- Creating Engineering Concept design, master sections, and macro feasibility during the styling stage
- Work out detailed engineering and TPL creation and Release in PLM Detailed Understanding of DFMEA, DVP
- Basic Knowledge of engineering plastic materials and processes, dimensional management, and GD&T.
- Good analytical, Communication, logical, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of tooling of plastics and manufacturing processes and molding processes.
- Receive customer feedback and carry out rework based on the feedback
- Execute the project with in timelines prescribed by the customer
Education – Bachelor in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering or equivalent

- Good knowledge of automotive systems

- Conceptualise & workout on detailed designs
- Conduct design reviews & co-ordination with CFT
- Vehicle Performance Calculations
- Project documentation & preparation for management reviews
- Involve in benchmark studies
- Prepare vehicle technical specs & offer drawings
- Prepare vehicle layouts
- Technical documentation
- Co-ordination for prototype build and support
- Workout value engineering proposals
- Interact with suppliers for component development
- Prepare project time plans
- Exp in Automotive OEM SCV/LCV/ICV/HCV/BUS
- Electric Vehicle work Experience will be an advantage.
- Co-ordination and issue resolution with ODT/IDT/Proto/Production
- Knowledge of 4D documents (DFA/DFM/DFS/DFMEA)
