Position – Design Engineer

Job description

Requirement Brief: – Team Member

3 to 6 years experience in digitization and detail engineering of Steel plants or Oil and Gas or Pharmaceutical or Gas power plants.

This requirement is on three different tools.
  1. Autodesk Plant 3D (P3D)
  2. Revit Structures 
  3. Inventor
Auto desk Plant 3D:  
  • Existing Working experience on Plant 3D. Minimum 3 years
  • Knowledge on P&ID
  • Knowledge of the Piping layout
  • Knowledge of equipment layout
  • Selection of type of supports
  • Support modeling
  • Equipment modeling
  • Extraction of isometrics in plant 3D
  • GA Drawings
  • Knowledge of ASME, API, and standards.
  • Knowledge of Piping materials
  • BOM Generation
  • Review in Navisworks
Revit Structures:
  • Present Working experience on Revit Structures. Minimum 3 years
  • Ability to read the design drawings and generate a 3D model in Revit
  • Understanding the details from the design drawings and being able to create layout Drawings out of them.
  • Ability to quality check the 3D model against design drawings
  • Able to create shop drawings which include floor plans, sections, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, foundation plans, details, isometric views, etc.
along with schedules, and quantities from the 3D model.
  • Ability to perform various Quality Checks to validate models for things like
  • Ensure checking of all design output and coordination (Interface) between other disciplines;
  • Knowledge of Navisworks and Clash Test Report Preparation
  • Revit family creation and modification as per requirement
  • Ensures accuracy and quality of discipline model information, presentation, and coordination.
  • Miscellaneous Support modeling
  • Extraction Markup drawings
Inventor 3D:
  • Present Working experience as an Inventor, Minimum 3 years.
  • Knowledge of detailed drawings of equipment
  • Knowledge of various IS code
  • Knowledge’s on part modeling and assembles modeling
  • Knowledge of the Steel Industry
  • Reviewing Vendor Drawings
  • Part Modeling Knowledge in inventor
  • Sheet Metalworks in Inventor
  • GA Drawing
  • Coordination with the Civil and Piping.
  • Basic engineering design and calculations
  • Selection of material based on the application
  • Basic mechanical engineering
  • Manufacturing process knowledge
  • Selection of basic mechanical elements, Pneumatics, Accessories, etc
  • Should have knowledge of materials like Mild steel/ Stainless steel etc., 
  • Awareness of structural steels like Channels, Beams, Plates, Pipes, etc., & fasteners
