BE/ M.E./B. Tech in Mechanical
Experience: 3 to 5 years
Scope of Role
CFD simulation for the automotive application and components. This opening is required knowledge of automotive powertrain components. Experience in Conjugate thermal simulation and meshing of the engine bay. Cooling the thermal management type CFD simulation of automotive application. Multiphase simulation and water-wading-type simulation
Area of Responsibility
This position is responsible for carrying out CFD simulations of automotive applications. Under the hood and powertrain component CFD simulation. It includes input data collection to fulfill the different types of simulation activities. Technical documentation writing skill of CFD results.
- Good understanding of Fluid mechanics and Thermal engineering
- Good experience in CFD simulation support for Thermal management
- Good experience in performing transient and conjugate-type CFD Simulation
- Experience in simulation support for new product development and legacy projects
- Rich experience in CFD simulation and understanding the theory
- Lead or assist in preparing a detailed plan for simulation activities as per design phases
- Provide guidance to design engineers to improve the performance of designs
- Provide accurate and detailed reports of CFD results. Ensure that product design and performance meet technical and functional requirements.
- Good communication skills and technical understanding.
- Software knowledge and experiences: CATAI in geometry clean-up and StarCCM for simulation.
