Designation – CAE Analyst- NVH(Powertrain)
Experience – 3 to 6 Years
Education – BE/B. Tech/ME/M. Tech

Job Location-Chennai

N/P- Imm. /15 days/30 days /45 days /90 Days

Please find the JD as below –

  • I. Bachelor’s or master’s in mechanical / Automobile Engineering with knowledge of automobile parts having a total experience of 3 to 5 years in the automotive NVH CAE domain
  • II. Should have a minimum of 6000 Hours of work experience in CAE Pre-Post & solver using ANSA / NASTRAN / ABAQUS / META is a must.
  • III. Experience in complete ICE & Electrical powertrain/driveline system model build [including hex/tet mesh] including connections, mechanisms/assembly, contacts etc. independently.
  • IV. Experience in analysis and post-processing of different powertrain-specific cases like normal mode, FRF, LDS, rigid body mode decoupling, vibroacoustic analysis etc as per client requirements/methods without any supervision.
  • V. Able to validate the correctness of CAE results and proceed with evaluations, finding Issues and root causes and proposing Design solutions for NVH simulations as per Client requirements.
  • VI. Preferred to have experience in handling BIW / TBIW / Full vehicle NVH CAE models & basic load cases.
  • VII. Should have good theoretical knowledge of NVH concepts & finite element analysis.
  • VIII. Preference for cross-domain basic knowledge of Crash and Durability.
  • IX. Preferred to have experience in handling/guiding small teams with size 3 or more.
  • X. Sound knowledge of fundamental physics & engineering principles
  • XI. Strong Analytical, Logical, written, communication & presentation skill
  • I. Create and validate the NVH CAE system/assembly model for the complete powertrain system for ICE & electrical vehicles
  • II. Debug and Solve CAE calculations of powertrain & with full vehicle automotive system
  • III. Able to validate the correctness of CAE results & Proceed with Evaluations
  • IV. Finding issue, cause, Mechanism, and proposing feasible solutions
  • V. Deliver analysis results to the reporting project Leader/Team leader
  • VI. Following the best practice methods
  • VII. Support the technical requirements to the satisfaction of the client for NVH Domain
  • VIII. Help in creation of Knowledge Management Documents with support from the technical specialist if required.
  • IX. Enhance client relationships with technical guidance in the NVH Domain

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
  • I. Good knowledge of automotive modeling
  • II. Good Knowledge of Model building using ANSA
  • III. Knowledge of Nastran / Abaqus solver à NVH (Powertrain)
  • IV. Good knowledge of META for post-processing & result interpretation
  • V. Knowledge about typical Finite Elements.
  • VI. Knowledge in FE model Quality criteria
  • VII. Prepare standard reports with CAE solutions/recommendations.
DESIRABLE SKILLS

I. Knowledge in Automotive Systems: Powertrain [ICE/ Electric] / Vehicle Structure
II. Knowledge in building FE without CAD
III. Knowledge in modifying the FE mesh for alternative design
IV. Knowledge in updating trim body and debugging for NVH
