Job description

Job Type: 1 year contractual (Based on performance contract may be renewed)

Job Responsibility:

1. This role requires the study of microstructure and identification of phases, hardness testing, interpretation of tensile testing, and calculation of important parameters from the tensile curve. 
2. The candidate is expected to carry out heat-treatment experiments both at the laboratory and pilot scale.
3. Experience in using optical microscope and scanning electron microscope
4. Data analysis, and data plotting using different tools such as Excel, origin, etc.
5. Basic knowledge of metallography, sample preparation, image processing
6. Literature study and summarising the technical content, report preparation

Other details

Qualification:

• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/PhD in Metallurgy/Mechanical and Materials Science Engineering(Any Specialization).
• 0 to 3 years experience will be preferred.
