Position – Executive- Avionics FTM

Job Overview

The individual will be responsible for managing daily activities related to FTM avionics. He/She should be able to support Manager FTM in various avionics engineering functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regular closure of AMOS TQs for Part definitions / ICY requests
  • Co-ordination with various stake holders for fabrication of non-airworthiness parts which do not impact safety and work towards cost optimization for the organization
  • Preparation of Engineering instructions for issuance to LM for the implementation on fleet
  • Preparation of reports for ARC issue/extension and during induction/lease return of the aircraft
  • Regular issuance of WO’s to the fleet for any modifications, fleet campaigns, etc.
  • Introduction of the modifications in AMOS for newly inducted aircraft
  • Monitoring of DGCA mandatory modifications and definition in AMOS. Reporting back of DGCA mandatory modification compliance to CAM and other stakeholders
  • Definition of AD/SB/VSB/other Modifications in AMOS and monitoring the compliance
  • Scrutiny of work orders from MRO w.r.t. modifications for completion and accuracy
  • Preparation of MEL and coordination for its approval from DGCA
  • Preparation of Special Ops folders for the new aircraft and coordination for its approval by DGCA
  • Represent FTM for liaison with DGCA w.r.t. engineering issues
  • Any other task as assigned by the Manager

Skills & Attributes

  • Good communication skills
  • Good standard of computer literacy (MS office applications)
  • System knowledge – AMOS will be preferred

Work Experience

  • 0-2 years of working experience in Engineering/CAMO function

Qualification

  • Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical engineering or 3 years DGCA approved course in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
