Tata Motors is seeking applications for the position of Senior Manager in functions ranging from Operations/Manufacturing, Product Line, Purchase & Supply Chain, Engineering/R&D, AI/ML, SDV, and Commercial.

Applications are invited from candidates who bring 12+ months of experience, post completion of their B.E. / B.Tech in 2023, from AICTE approved Colleges / University.

Position Description

Positions Title: Senior Manager.

Location: Pan India locations of Tata Motors.

Purpose of the Position:

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, you will have the opportunity to kick-start your career in the automotive and manufacturing industry. Your role will encompass comprehensive training, mentorship and hands-on experience in assigned disciplines and functions within our organization. You will work closely with experienced professionals, gain exposure to the manufacturing processes, product development, cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to the development of innovative automotive solutions.

Specialization to be selected from:

Should be a B.E / B.Tech graduate of 2023 in the following specified discipline. Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Automobile / Computer / IT / etc

Job Responsibilities:

To gain an in-depth understanding of products and operations be responsible for operational processes and enable end-to-end seamless execution of day-to-day activities in any one of the areas viz. Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Product Development, Purchase & Supply Chain Management

Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on LIVE projects, assisting and contributing in the implementation of the overall success of the project

Production Support: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders on the floor to ensure the production line operates efficiently and meets the quality standards to achieve the output/production targets

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements within the function/organization
Quality Assurance: Assist in monitoring and maintaining the highest quality standards in overall product development processes, ensuring products meet safety and performance requirements

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices through ongoing training and self-directed learning
Work as a member of the assigned Team. Bend, twist, lift, stand, walk, reach, see, move and hear – do whatever it takes to maximize your learning and get the project reach the finish line !

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates who have completed their B.Tech / BE. In 2023 from any AICTE approved colleges / Universities.
  • Minimum 60% marks in SSC & above without any gap/year-drop.
  • Currently in 1st job post B.E. / B.Tech. Candidates with multiple job changes will not be eligible.
  • Minimum 12 months of formal experience is mandatory to be eligible to apply.
