Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mechanical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities:

• Should have good understanding and dealt with heavy mechanical components
• Should be able to understand Engineering Drawings
• Basic usage of Auto-CAD / Solid Edge / Inventor
• Capability to interact with new vendors for engineering component development
• Fundamental knowledge of all mechanical engineering processes such as Machining/ Cutting Grinding/ Gear Manufacturing/ Surface Engineering (Painting/ Shot Blasting/ Galvanizing) and other Corrosion Protection Systems.
• Good understanding of Limits/ Fits and Tolerances
• Basic knowledge of Tribology
• Basic knowledge of Vibration or Condition Monitoring
• Basic knowledge of Fasteners and different type of Threads
• Overall understanding of different engineering standards such as DIN- German Standard, ASTM- American Standards, BS Indian Standards
• Exposure to international countries is an added advantage
• Capability to work in a team and take leadership
• The capability to use hand tools and power tools is desired

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, with a focus on design and development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering standards.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant software for simulations and analysis.
• Understanding of safety standards and regulations.
