Position Mechanical Engineer for an Energy Company
Experience Level 0-2 years
Salary Expectation Upto 1,20,000 per annum
Location Chennai, India
Reporting to the Director of the Company
Key role & responsibilities
- Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements
- Produce outline designs
- Conduct experiments methodically, analyze data and interpret results
- Test and evaluate theoretical designs
- Implement designs on site and manage projects
- Evaluate the final product’s overall performance, reliability, and safety
- Alter and modify the design to meet requirements and eliminate malfunctions
- Estimate budget and scope of the project
- Solicit observations from operators
- Prepare project reports and documentation
- Engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods

- A keen interest in environment and energy efficiency
- A minimum of BE degree in Mechanical Engineering without a history of reappearance.
- Preferable: Work experience in Mechanical Engineering or as a Site Engineer
- Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE or other)
- Adequate knowledge of Engineering Analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanica or similar)
- Clear understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, materials science, etc.
- Creativity and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner in English
- Technical writing skills in English
- Work experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is an advantage
- Practical Requirements Based out of Chennai
- Must be mobile with a valid 2-wheeler license and willing to travel to sites
