Job description
Join our CT_MTCS team within Chemtech division in India as Project Design Engineer.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Prepare General Arrangement, Attachment, Detail, PDR drawings, and raw material weight estimation of column internals, trays, separators, static mixers, etc. using Solid Works, AutoCAD & MS Excel
- Study/preparation of design notes, project plan, handover form, and all other project-specific inputs with support from the team leader.
- Perform mechanical calculations of column internals, trays, packing, separators, static mixers, etc. using standard Excel programs.
- Attend to shop queries as and when required and resolve them with the help of team leader/group leader.
- Update usage 1 BOM in the SAP for applicable projects and change the BOM status to 8.
- Link the drawings to SAP & to do Hours booking in SAP.
- Follow department Work Instructions for IMS and EMS & have adequate awareness about 5S, ESH, OHSAS, and practices.
- Implement the learnings of training programs attended in daily work and projects and train fellow teammates as and when needed.
What you bring to Sulzer:
- Work experience: 3-5 years, Mechanical engineer with Design engineering background
- Education: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- Certifications: SolidWorks
