Job description
Position Title
Shift Incharge
Purpose of Role
To Supervise the Production Activities in all the Rolling Mills.
Position Demands
Travelling to plants.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Ensure the Machine Runs as per SOP, Plant Standards & Work Instructions.
- Monitor & Analyse the Production Process Parameters.
- Identify & Suggest Corrective & Preventive actions for any Repetitative Breakdowns.
- Monitor & Analyse the Process Parameters through SAP & Assist in Various Audits.
- Coordinate with the Engineering Department for the Uptime of Rolling Mills.
- Supervise the Planned Shutdown activities & Other Breakdowns. Identify & Analyse the Root Cause & Take Necessary Corrective & Preventive actions.
- Assist in a project to reduce rod rejection and breaks to zero.
Critical Success Factors – Essential
- B.Tech- Mechanical/ Production.
- 1-3 years of exp in Production, Maintenance and rolling mill
