Job Summary
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) in the Projects department, you will support the execution of solar power plant projects, both rooftop and utility-scale, from inception to commissioning. You will gain hands-on experience in project planning, engineering, procurement, site execution, and quality & safety practices at project locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day project site activities under the supervision of the Project Engineer/Manager.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV systems and equipment.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor site progress, material usage, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Help ensure compliance with quality standards and health, safety & environment (HSE) protocols.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and site documentation.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving site-level technical issues.
- Learn and apply industry standards and company SOPs for solar project execution.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and project execution lifecycle.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites in different locations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic project management tools.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or Civil Engineering (2023/2024 pass-out preferred).
- Internship or academic project experience in solar/renewable energy will be an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates with a passion for renewable energy and fieldwork are encouraged to apply.
