Job description
Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and eager Executive – Design & Engineering to join our team in the Industrial EPC sector. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to kick-start their careers in the engineering and design field. You will be working closely with experienced professionals to assist in the design, development, and execution of industrial projects while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the EPC industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Design Development: Support the design and engineering teams in creating and refining engineering designs for industrial projects such as power plants, oil & gas facilities, and infrastructure.
- Technical Support: Help with the preparation of technical drawings, documents, and project plans, ensuring that designs meet required standards and specifications.
- Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating project tasks and schedules, ensuring design and engineering activities are progressing according to plan.
- Learning & Development: Actively participate in training programs, workshops, and on-the-job learning experiences to develop industry knowledge and technical skills.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Support the documentation process by organizing project files, maintaining records, and ensuring accurate data entry related to design specifications and project progress.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with different teams, including procurement, construction, and quality assurance, to gain an understanding of how design and engineering work integrate into the overall project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance: Help monitor the quality and consistency of the design deliverables and ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Problem-Solving: Assist in identifying and resolving any technical issues that may arise during the design and engineering process under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, or related fields).
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of design principles, engineering concepts, and construction practices. Familiarity with software tools like AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar design software is a plus.
- Interest in EPC Industry: A strong interest in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) sector, with a desire to learn and grow in this field.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work with precision and accuracy, ensuring that engineering designs and documents are complete and error-free.
- Teamwork: Strong team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different functions.
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to learn to communicate effectively in technical settings.
