Job description

This position will be based at Celeros Flow Technology Bangalore office and part of our global Aftermarket tendering team. Celeros Flow Technology is a divestiture company of SPX Flow. Application Engineer will report into Team Lead – After Market Tendering and the position will be based in Bangalore. The incumbent will support the aftermarket technical tendering jobs for quick opening closures replacement parts. Responsibilities include preparing, coordinating, and issuing detailed quotations for replacement spare parts of quick opening Closures used in Oil and Gas industry. This list is not exhaustive.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates liaison between sales department and all other operational departments.
• Prepares technical tenders for equipment parts and service.
• Follows supervisor instructions on methods, techniques or approaches.
• Attend bid clarification meetings.
• Facilitate order handover to site facility for manufacturing
• Actively pursues sales targets for closures product line spares and services.
• Progress order bookings and ensure order throughput is managed in a timely fashion.
• Process inquiries and assist in resolving customer concerns.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Excellent technical capability.
• Able to work hands-on for technical tendering of Oil and Gas quick opening Closures and have direct customer interaction across the globe.
• Commercially focused.
• Ability to assess commercial terms and conditions.
• Proven track record of a customer service ethos.
• Interacts with customers by phone or in-person to provide information and to ensure the best technical service possible.
• Exposure to International business
• Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• BE/Diploma in mechanical engineering in regular course from recognized university and institute in India
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in technical tendering of Quick opening closures/ any other O&G closures/ pressure vessels/filtration equipment. Preference will be for the candidate with aftermarket application engineering /tendering experience
• Excellent communication skills in the English language and SAP experience is required
