Job description
- Acts as Environmental Protection, Health Management and Safety (EHS) expert in the Real Estate (RE) team of Siemens Healthineers. Incumbent will have to interface with project management team along with architect, design engineering consultants, various vendors/ business partners, internal users and RE team considering future & ongoing operational and maintenance topics
Roles and Responsibilities
- Set EHS Expectations from design engg stage & minimize risks
- Onsite Safety, Security, Labor welfare, Health topics to be coordinated and implemented through appointed Vendors/ Business Partners
- Set tone of Zero Harm Culture & drive solution oriented approach without compromising on guideline requirements
- Provide operational and technical inputs while selecting equipment specifications with futuristic approach on long term building operations & maintenance.
- Supports and monitors implementation of continuous improvement within project and other operating facilities
- Monitors & control safety & security systems throughout project implementation cycle
- Suggest & implement cost saving measures
- Prepare risk analysis & implement control measures
- Guide & support onsite construction management team
Experience and Skillset required
- Graduate Engineer (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical) with Diploma in Environment, Health & Safety, 10-15 years experience in various similar Real Estate Projects, facilities with coordination & project execution with satisfactory handover within Defined EHS standards.
- Candidate must have basic knowledge of Key Sustainability Topics and process of LEED Certification. Candidate must be aware of HIRA, SWMS Documents along with related ISO Standards
- Candidate must have Leadership quality and able to drive big projects along with team cohesively to achieve overall organizational goals
- The candidate shall be flexible about relocating anywhere in India
