A Snapshot of Your Day

The Technical Service Engineer will be a key technical expert in the service business team, specializing in the fixing and resolution of reciprocating compressor issues during service and operations. They will provide technical support, guidance, and solutions to ensure the optimal performance of compressors in the field.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Collaborate closely with Gas Service Client Managers to understand customer service needs and requirements
• Serve as a bridge between customers and Gas Service Client Managers, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery
• Provide expert consultation on our range of services, assisting customers in making informed decisions
• Facilitate the development of service strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to business growth
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, feedback, and complaints
• Address customer complaints with professionalism, providing resolutions that maintain the company’s reputation for excellent service
• Diagnose and fix technical issues with compressors during service and operations.
• Provide on-site technical support to customers, ensuring quick and effective resolution of service issues.
• Conduct technical training sessions for customers and service staff to improve understanding and handling of compressor equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to provide feedback and insights on compressor performance and serviceability.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and standard processes in compressor service and operations.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field with proven experience of 2 to 5 years
• Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the service industry
• Proven experience in compressor service and operations, with a strong track record of fixing and problem-solving.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills, with the ability to communicate sophisticated technical information clearly.
• Willingness to travel within Asia Pacific region to provide on-site support.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to compressor service.
• Self-motivation to find efficient and effective ways to accomplish end goals
