A Snapshot of Your Day

Primary responsibility for creating 3-D models, engineering drawings, assemblies, and manufacturing stage modeling using NX 2306 and Globus Teamcenter14 to support Turbomachinery / Turbine components & assemblies in compliance to Siemens Energy. To provide back-office engineering support for engineering, 3-D modeling, and drafting activities for different Siemens Energy operations globally.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering from a reputed institution and proficiency in the use of 3-D modeling and drafting software.
• Candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience post degree of using NX with Engineering Design / Consultancy Company
• Working knowledge of NX2306 & GloBus TC14 (Parametric modeling, Expression based modeling, Part families; Advanced Assembly features, Handling large assemblies in NX, Assembly arrangements)
• Hands-on experience on creating 3D models & drawing for Casting / Forging components.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes like Turning, Milling, Turnmill, Grinding, etc
• Knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing like ASME, ISO is required.
• Candidate should possess excellent communication skills & flexible to support different time zones.
• Expertise working in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Adobe PDF and Team Center to facilitate project execution.
• Strong soft personal skill i.e. team player, quick learner, ability to adapt quickly & effectively etc.
• Exposure to Oracle and/or SAP BoM will be an added advantage.
• Product exposure with Turbo machineries like Reciprocating compressors, Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, and Centrifugal compressors is preferred.

What You Bring

• To create 3-D models and drawings of components/assemblies, casting, manufacturing stage modeling & forging components for Siemens Turbomachinery & Turbine products.
• To Convert old 2-D drawings to 3-D models by using NX 2306
• Prepare/load Bill of Materials in Globus & SAP.
• Follow engineering & drafting standard practices and provide drawing updation and revision control.
• Handle in confidence the drawings and/or trade secret information of Siemens Energy products.
• Support productivity improvement and establish best practices for modeling and drafting activities within a stipulated time period.
• Recording and tracking of engineering hours utilized for various projects.
• Electronic transfer of drawings, documents, and data with Siemens Energy Global Operations.
• Support efficiency improvement and establish best practices for modeling and drafting activities within a stipulated time period.
