Level- Required for BS 6.2 sourcing and Development
Reports to Senior Manager Program Purchase
Organization Unit SMIL Nashik

Main Responsibilities / Job Summary

(Primary deliverables of role and its scope)

Projects :

Sharing RFQ with the supplier, Comparing & analysis of quotations.
Daily, work on micro-level activities progress tracking & support immediate manager with a status report on a daily basis
Daily status update on the pending Gate deliverables of each project & update the status to the team, follow-ups/ reminders with supplier.
Drive part development and follow up with the supplier.
Drive design and feasibility reviews with the CFT team.
Ensure all project gates/milestones are met without any RED flags.
Drive supplier PPAP, and part cost actualization on time with the supplier.
Drive Sub-supplier PPAP on time.
Resolve development, PPAP, and Quality issues as quickly as possible.

Meeting Program Purchasing Milestones-100%
Launch issues- Below 10%

Skills & Knowledge Requirements (Abilities / Knowledge & Expertise in field)

Knowledge (Technical / Functional)

Skills –

BE Mechanical/Production.
Awareness of Quality tools, PPAP, APQP, etc.
Awareness about stamping and welding is a must.
Knowledge of press tools, Gauges, and fixture development is a must.
Experience in supplier quality issue handling and supplier auditing
Willing to travel
Awareness of Excel and PowerPoint.
