Position – Trainee – Mechanical Assembly (MMHS)

Job description
WORK LEVEL: FTE
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Responsible for in-house assembly of AGV and other MMHS related system.
- Meeting daily set and agreed output from assembly plan.
- To follow standard assembly procedures & techniques, and have assembly specific Process knowledge.
- To keep workstation tools & components in house assembly area.
- Data maintenance/checks performed during assembly
- Communication for daily output and pending jobs.
- Information about damaged components – tools.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
PROFILE:
EDUCATION: ITI FITTER, ASSEMBLER /Diploma (Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering)
EXPERIENCE: Fresher, 1 – 2 years in the field of Assembly, Engineering industry
Not to be photocopied and / or given to others without permission of the issuing authority. “Uncontrolled if printed”.
SKILLS:
- Need to read and understand parts, assembly drawings, BOM, LLI given by the Design Department and assemble the machine (by assembling parts and subassemblies) using respective fasteners (indicated in the drawing) as in the Fasteners BOM
- Should possess hands-on experience with drilling, tapping, cutting, grinding & other manufacturing operations.
- Should possess knowledge of different types of bolts, screws, washers, and tools required for the assembly….etc.
- Should possess ability to use the measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, Spring
- Calipers, Thread gauge, Spirit Levels, Tri-squares, Protractors….etc.
