Executive/Sr. Executive/Assistant Manager – Application Engineering

Your main responsibilities

  1. Support actively in Application Engineering activities for Elevator modernisation Projects.
  2. Understanding the modernisation technical requirements from MOD sales.
  3. Applying knowledge of elevator systems, electrical and mechanical components, and safety regulations to design and implement modernization solutions.
  4. Select the elevator components and pre-approved technical solutions while offering non-standard. solutions.
  5. Identifying and resolving technical issues that may arise during the modernization of order processing and installation.
  6. Strong understanding of elevator systems, electrical and mechanical components, and control systems.
  7. Evaluate and demonstrate technical feasibility for offering technical solutions.
  8. Analyse codes, understand customer requirements, technology & process of manufacturing, methods of installation & maintenance.
  9. Understand the Elevator System & perform system calculations.
  10. Use the elevator calculation tool or any other equivalent tool for calculations.
  11. Perform hand calculations when desired.
  12. Responsible for quality, on-time delivery, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of all project-related activities, know-how of document creation & storage as per ISO requirements.
  13. Support the continuous improvement of Modernisation kits and internal processes.
  14. Referred best demonstrated practices.
  15. Support actively for cross-functional projects/tasks
  16. Fulfill assigned responsibilities according to the department, apply corporate procedures, ON’s & internal guidelines.

What you bring

Education & Qualification:

  • B.E. Mechanical, Master’s or Similar.
  • Exposure to AutoCAD is an advantage.

Professional experience:

  1. 3 to 5 years of experience in the Elevator industry.
  2. Preference for a candidate who has worked particularly on elevator modernization projects.
