Job Title: Product Design Engineer (Forging Industry)
Experience: 2 to 10 years
Education: DME / BE – Mechanical
Software Skills: UG NX / AutoCAD/QForm/ForgeNXT/Veracad
Forging Process Knowledge: Hot forging (Steel / Aluminium material)

Role
Forging Design:
- Conduct 3D modeling of parts for hot forging processes.
- Develop die designs and forging tool designs to meet project specifications.
- Ensure designs align with industry standards and client requirements.
Forging Simulation:
- Utilize forging process simulation tools such as Q-form, Forge NXT, or equivalent.
- Conduct simulations to optimize the forging process for efficiency and quality.
- Analyze simulation results and make necessary design adjustments.
Documentation:
- Generate and maintain Forging design documents including Part 3D models, Die Designs, and Forging tool designs.
- Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plans, and other relevant forging process documents.
- Ensure documentation complies with company standards and industry regulations.
