Position – Machine Building Engineer

Job description

• Equipment designing, building, and testing
• Responsible for CAD modelling especially experience in Solid works part modelling, assembly, drawing, basic FEA, custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.
• Good in-depth knowledge of GD&T
• Knowledge of bearings and spindle designing
• Motor selection based on torque, acceleration-deceleration, and velocity profile calculation, stepper, and servo motor knowledge would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in optics, optical system handling, and fixture designing for optics would be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge about casting, welding, bending, forming process.
• In-depth knowledge about the various manufacturing process, Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly
• Ability to design fixtures to hold small and delicate medical components.
• Strong domain technical knowledge with experience in handling projects independently.
• Hands-on experience in various engineering calculations and analysis under general supervision.
• Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve moderately complex issues

Qualifications

• Education – BE/ BTech in mechanical
• Good communication skill
• Impacts quality of their own work, and the work of others in the team; work with collaboration
• Solves the problems in straightforward situations; analyze possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents
• No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to team members
• Hard-working and target-oriented person
• Hands-on experience in handling office tools
• Action-oriented, learning on the fly, and multitasking.
