Location: India-Vadodara
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure Manufacturing Operations with safe & defined quality parameters
Job Area: Blender / Extruder / Packaging /QA/ Utility-Silo all area in Production.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow site EHS norms/standards and demonstrate continual improvement initiatives in his work area.
- Maintain his area clean as per Lean 5S standards and set an example for others in keeping their area clean.
- Take initiative, be self-directed, and exhibit high motivational levels. To meet manufacturing metrics; assist as required on strategic projects/initiatives and drive kaizen implementation/process – –quality improvement at the work area. Take an interest in solving problems.
- Willingly helps others beyond his work area.
- Grasp fast and go into details of work initiated/assigned. Seek answers for the unknown from colleagues.
- Discipline in behavior & responsibility to follow standards at work area assumes responsibility for own mistakes and make corrections.
- See change as a tool for improvement. Demonstrate flexibility and self-motivation to meet functional requirements.
- Filling of logbooks and respective area documentation with detailed downtime, corrective action, COT time, and lot data sheet with accountability & effective communication to next shifts.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years experience
- Computer literacy
- Good knowledge about Mfg. Process & equipments
- Knowledge – Plastics compounding Manufacturing related Process & Procedure
- Skills – Safety orientation and appreciation of safety systems. Plan & implement activities relating to his area.
- Abilities – Understand, follow & implement SOPs and EHS norms. Take initiative & sustain improvements
