Job description
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering) (or) Diploma in Tool & die making.
- 3 to 5 years ’ experience in Automotive Huge stamping Die design with a strong technical background
- Hands-on experience in the design of all process Die designs (blank, Draw, Trim, Restrike, Flange) of large automotive parts like DOOR OTR / INR, FENDER FR / RR, HOOD OTR / INR, BACK DOOR OTR / INR, TRUNK LID OTR / INR, FLOOR FR / RR / CTR, etc.
- Experience in the design of all types of cam like fly cams, lower cams, collapse cams/filler cams, wedge cams, etc.
- Should have knowledge in the usage of standard parts for die designs from Misumi, Dayton, Sankyo catalogs, die materials & related applications.
- Sound knowledge in castability standards & related applications to die design.
- Sound knowledge in the panel transfer mechanisms of press lines (Robot, Crossbar, Feed-bar etc) & their applicability in die design.
- Knowledge in transfer simulation, scrap simulation, dynamic interference analysis, and die structure analysis is an added advantage.
- Software Knowledge:
- Die design: CADCEUS (Preferred), CATIA
- Scrap simulation / dynamic interference: NX Recurdyn
- Transfer Simulation: CATIA (Kinematics), NX – Press line simulation
- FEM / Die structure Analysis – Adventure Cluster (ADVC)
