Role Overview
Raytheon is seeking an Associate Engineer/Engineer to contribute to structural analysis projects in the aerospace domain. This role requires expertise in static and fatigue analysis, focusing on metallic and composite structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Structural Analysis:
- Perform structural analysis using both classical and finite element methods.
- Analyze static and fatigue behavior of aerospace components, particularly aircraft nacelle parts.
- Technical Expertise:
- Review and validate results for both metallic and composite structures.
- Interpret technical requirements to conceptualize designs through analysis validation.
- Software Proficiency:
- Work with design tools like CATIA and finite element tools, including Hypermesh, Nastran, and Patran.
- Develop macros or automation scripts as needed.
- Collaboration:
- Communicate technical deliverables effectively with stakeholders.
- Perform tasks independently while adhering to project timelines.
Basic Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering is preferred.
- Experience:
- 0–4 years of relevant experience in aerospace structural analysis.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of classical and finite element analysis.
- Experience with metallic and composite structures.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
