Position – Product Change Analyst

Eligibility Criteria

• Relevant Years of Experience: Minimum 4 Years-6yrs
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Production / Industrial/Electrical/Electronics)

Primary Responsibilities

• Serves as the conduit with engineering to ensure materials assessment reporting will be in place prior to Engineering Change Request submittal
• Responsible for evaluating Spares material assessment to assure or minimize excess inventory prior to Engineering change submittal and analyses inventory financial impact (Rework Cost, Excess & Obsolete)
• Coordinate with internal team for Change order creation and collaborate with the Engg Change Program Managers, Product Manager, Supplier Business Managers and Configuration Engineering to review E&O liability prior to Engineering Change Request submittal
• Assess material availability and inventory impacts for Engineering Changes in order to assist in establishing effectivity date(s)
• Serves as the conduit with Supply Chain and ensures that the material supporting the change will be in place to meet the planned effectivity
• Support the Execution of material disposition in the ECR implementation
• Responsible for evaluating material consumption per implementation effectivity date(s) to assure no excess inventory

Mandatory skills required for the job

• Experience and Expert level knowledge in Engineering Change Mgmt Process
• Strong knowledge of Obsolescence Mgmt process
• Experience in Cost Analysis on change orders wrt BoM Changes
• Good understanding of BoM (Bill of Material) structure
• Experience in working with MS Excel, MS Access & MS Word
• Detailed oriented, strong analytical skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills (written & verbal) in English
• Good Problem-solving techniques
